1 cup Crisco 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed 1 egg 1 cup Forty to One cooking syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 4 cups flour 2 teaspoons Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon salt White sugar for rolling cookie dough
Cream Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, Forty to One syrup and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Combine remaining ingredients, flour thru salt, and add to mixture and blend.
Roll small amounts of dough the size of walnuts. Coat with white sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes in preheated 350 degree oven. Cool on wire rack.
